Access CADC on LayerZero

Bridge Canada’s dollar stablecoin across chains in a single transaction via Stargate

CADC is now using LayerZero's OFT standard to power cross-chain interoperability. Starting today, anyone can bridge Canada's Canadian dollar stablecoin between networks via Stargate, the bridge built on LayerZero, in a single transaction.

CADC moves as a LayerZero Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT), so there are no wrapped copies and no fragmented liquidity. The CADC that leaves one chain is the same CADC that lands on the next, backed 1:1 by Canadian dollars the whole way.

How to bridge CADC

  1. Head to stargate.finance and connect your wallet.

  2. Select CADC and the network you're sending from.

  3. Select the network you're sending to.

  4. Enter the amount, click Transfer, and confirm in your wallet. First time on a route? You'll approve the token once before the transfer goes through.

  5. Track your transfer on LayerZero Scan by searching your wallet address.

Bought CADC before October 22, 2026? You're holding legacy CADC, which needs to be exchanged before you bridge. Swap it 1:1 at migrate.loon.finance on the network where you hold it (migration doesn't work across networks), or redeem it for Canadian dollars through Paytrie. The migration window closes November 26, 2026, and the full guide is here.

About CADC

CADC is the Canadian Dollar Coin, a Canadian dollar stablecoin live since 2021. As of October 22, 2026, it is distributed under a final prospectus receipted by the Ontario Securities Commission, covering every province and territory in Canada.

Canadians have moved nearly C$1 billion in cumulative transaction volume through CADC since 2021. Past transaction volume is not an indicator of future performance.

CADC is issued by CADC Reserve Trust, an Ontario special purpose trust. Loon Payments Inc., a FINTRAC-registered money services business (C10001420), is its servicer and administrator. For every CADC purchased from the Issuer, C$1.00 is deposited into a segregated Reserve Trust Account held with ATB Financial as custodian, with monthly attestations.

Anyone can hold CADC in a self-hosted wallet, send and receive payments, and settle 24/7. Eligible Canadians can buy CADC at Paytrie, an Authorized Participant, with an Interac e-Transfer and sell it back the same way.

About LayerZero

LayerZero connects the world's most important assets to the world's most utilized blockchains. Issuers use the OFT Standard to distribute assets to 170+ chains. Chains use LayerZero Endpoints to connect to those assets and users. Wallets and exchanges use the Value Transfer API to move them. Trusted by Tether, PayPal, Paxos, Ondo Finance and Anchorage Digital, LayerZero is the standard for cross-chain interoperability.

Stargate is the bridge built on LayerZero and the go-to interface for moving OFTs between chains, which makes it the easiest way to move CADC wherever you need it.

CADC transfers are secured by a 3-of-5 Decentralized Verifier Network (DVN): LayerZero Labs, Fidelity’s Center for Applied Technologies, Deutsche Telekom MMS, Canary, and Google Cloud. Three must independently confirm every cross-chain message, so no single party can move CADC on its own.
